Wonderful Lodge Experience

local areasboard gamesexpensive restaurant
I really liked Oak Lodge! It's close to areas of interest. It is perfect for families. A local Morrisons provides food for cooking. Plates, bowls, glasses, and saucepans are available. I also loved the provided board games. It was great to get the kids off their phones! There were also many peacocks. The kids loved seeing them.
The restaurant seemed expensive for what was served. The potatoes were not fully cooked. We were offered fries as a replacement.
Dining
8/10
The hotel offers a restaurant with a range of meal options. There is also a bar that serves various beverages, including hand-drawn Tribute beer, in a sociable setting. The restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner services each day.

FABULOUS lodge experience!

equipped kitchencomfortable bedsconvenient sockets
The lodge was equipped! The kitchen included a dishwasher and washing machine, even with washing liquid. I found VERY comfortable beds, better than the ones I have at home. Plug sockets sat either side of the bed.
The restaurant seemed a bit expensive for the food, but that's just my opinion.

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues

lovely groundsstained cushionsundercooked potatoes
The building's grounds are actually quite nice.
The restaurant needs updates. The seating cushions had stains. The outside furniture needs a new coat of paint and the room's mattress should be replaced. My meal cost too much for what I got. My potatoes weren't cooked, though they offered fries instead. What a disaster.

The Badgers retreat was good. It features two beautiful double bedrooms with en-suite facilities. A full kitchen features a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything was brand new. I found it was indeed lovely.
The cushions at the dining area features stains, the outdoor furniture requires repainting. I found it very displeasing.
