A Secluded Farm Retreat
The Barn At Collacott is a 5-star countryside hotel set on a working farm in North Petherwin, offering total privacy away from urban areas. The historic barn houses just two spacious en suite rooms-the Barley Room and the Deluxe King Room-each with a separate bath and walk-in shower. Guests have access to a relaxing garden and outdoor terrace with picnic areas and an outdoor fireplace.
Farm-Inspired Accommodations
Each room includes a private entrance, garden views, a flat-screen TV, and a tea/coffee maker with homemade biscuits. The en suite bathrooms feature both a deep full-sized bath and a large walk-in shower, a rarity in countryside B&Bs. Soundproof rooms and daily housekeeping ensure a quiet and tidy stay throughout.
Locally-Sourced Breakfasts
The hotel serves a free full breakfast that includes full English/Irish, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, all cooked to order using local produce. Fresh eggs and herbs come directly from the farm, and guests can also choose smoked salmon, avocado on toast, or pancakes. Packed lunches are available for day trips exploring Dartmoor National Park or Bodmin Moor.
Location for Exploration
The hotel is 11 km from Launceston Castle and English Heritage sites, with Tintagel Castle 28 km away and Bude Castle 20 km away.
