"The hotel was surrounded by beautiful gardens and, although it's near a main road, it sits on a hill at the end of a winding drive with mature trees in the garden, so even on the verandah you aren't really aware of the road and traffic."

fine building lovely gardens

the building is fine. gardens are lovely. i found the staff friendly and helpful. the free car park was a great size and very convenient.

my room unfortunately faced the delivery entrance. i got woken up early by the noise. breakfast service was slow, so it was difficult to enjoy it fully.

many stairs breakfast refund

getting to the room involved loads of stairs! my husband experienced itching all over with raised bumps, and we had to leave early in the morning, very frustrating. i was told i'd receive a breakfast refund but never got it. this situation left me annoyed and inconvenienced.

garden view prompt staff amazing food

The room had a garden view. It proved a delight for my stay. Staff addressed my needs promptly. The restaurant offered food that was AMAZING!!!

The courtyard room was up a steep slope from the hotel. It was difficult to walk between the two.
