Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Who'D Have Thought It Inn is appreciated for its modern, well-designed rooms, often described as chalet-type, equipped with comfortable beds, TVs, and tea and coffee facilities. The pub offers very good food, particularly the Sunday lunch, which many found fantastic, and is conveniently located near attractions such as a golf course. Though some guests have noted thin walls, many enjoy the overall cleanliness and find it a great base for visiting Cotehele, with some even extending their stay.

Fantastic stay, was pretty good!

attentive staffdelicious tagliatelleenclosed gardenreasonable prices
The manager was accommodating to all needs! Sunday lunch was fantastic from start to finish! The conservatory was gorgeous. Staff were attentive and helpful with the cake, candles, and extra plates I brought! I would definitely recommend this venue to others for special occasions. The menu had many choices. The beef burger and wild mushroom tagliatelle were delicious! The house Malbec paired perfectly with the pasta. The portions were perfect. Plates came back empty! The room was clean. It was well laid out. I could park the car close to the room. The small enclosed garden was helpful. Letting the dog out first thing became easy. The staff were polite! The food and service were fabulous. The prices were reasonable. I stayed an extra night! What a treat!
The restaurant area was a bit cold. I was expecting the pub to serve breakfast. Sadly, it was unavailable .

The bed was very comfortable. I easily connected to the WiFi and watched TV. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got basic tea and coffee with real milk and chilled water when I arrived.
The toilet seat was not fitted properly. The bathroom door did not stay shut, so there was no privacy. The pillows felt lumpy and uncomfortable. The back of the TV remote was missing, so it was hard to use.
