The tennis courts had a gravelly surface, , made them unsafe to run on.

The location served well as a base for exploring other towns.

The kitchen lacked basic supplies. I found there were no instructions for the washing machine, and the doors to the external shed blow opened at night. There also was no hot water on the second morning.

The lodge had a spacious layout and felt very clean. The kitchen equipment included a dishwasher and a wine fridge. The hot tub provided a real treat to relax after exploring the coast. Swimming pool access was also available.

The television downstairs was not working. The WiFi was slow and it was difficult to watch anything.

The onsite restaurant was convenient for meals. Food and drinks at the onsite bar were very nice and there were options for everyone. A well-stocked shop was also available on site.

Staff was friendly at all stages. Reception staff attempted contact to ensure our settling in. Hot tub maintenance was first rate, with daily checks performed by staff for our peace of mind.
