Solid lodging for exploring
spacious lodge clean space well-stocked shop
I stayed in a four berth luxury wooden lodge. It was spacious and clean. The lodge had a well-stocked shop.
The tennis courts had a gravelly surface, , made them unsafe to run on.

The on-site restaurant is handy if you do not want to cook. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and wine fridge. There are many options close by.

All the staff is very friendly. They were cute at all stages. The staff tried to contact us to check we settled in and were ok.

The location is perfect for a short break. There is a swimming pool. There is a hot tub to come home to after exploring the coast.

Decent Stay, Some Issues Found
missing instructions no hot water
The location served well as a base for exploring other towns.
The kitchen lacked basic supplies. I found there were no instructions for the washing machine, and the doors to the external shed blow opened at night. There also was no hot water on the second morning.

Ideal Lodge Stay
spacious layout useful equipment relaxing hot tub
The lodge had a spacious layout and felt very clean. The kitchen equipment included a dishwasher and a wine fridge. The hot tub provided a real treat to relax after exploring the coast. Swimming pool access was also available.
The television downstairs was not working. The WiFi was slow and it was difficult to watch anything.

The onsite restaurant was convenient for meals. Food and drinks at the onsite bar were very nice and there were options for everyone. A well-stocked shop was also available on site.

Staff was friendly at all stages. Reception staff attempted contact to ensure our settling in. Hot tub maintenance was first rate, with daily checks performed by staff for our peace of mind.

The lodge had spacious design. The living room had a large, very comfortable seating area. The place was quiet, with no noises at night.
The television downstairs was broken at my lodge.

balcony view temperature settings quality sofa
The lakeside flat includes a balcony with a view. Automatic temperature settings worked well in the flat. The sofa was good quality.
The tennis courts aren't playable because of a gravelly surface.
