Aqua Club & Pools

The Headland Hotel And Spa sits above Fistral Beach and operates the Aqua Club, a complex of six indoor and outdoor pools open all year round. Heated pools, an infinity pool, a pool with view, a kids' pool, a hot tub/Jacuzzi, sun loungers and pool towels are part of the Aqua Club. The Deck, part of the Aqua Club, serves poolside drinks and Mediterranean dining.

Spa & Wellness

The Five Bubble rated Hydro Spa includes multiple hydro pools, a Cornish salt steam room, a Swedish sauna, a hot tub and experience showers. Elemis, Voya and OPI treatments are available in the ash wood panelled rooms, and the Life Fitness gym is open to guests. The Hydro Spa also provides spa/wellness packages, a spa lounge/relaxation area and locker rooms.

Dining

RenMor holds an AA rosette and serves Cornish coastal produce. Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling operates separately from the hotel. The Headland's bar serves afternoon teas, Cornish breakfasts, and cocktails with fine wines.

The spacious 5-star bedrooms come with a cosy seating area, a bathroom with fluffy robes, and some overlook Fistral Beach or the hotel gardens. The breakfast was really good. It had a delicious buffet and many freshly cooked hot choices. There were also three dining venues plus room service options available. Attentive staff provided good service without being too zealous!!!

The location offered dramatic sea views from many rooms in our cottage. the aqua club was a highlight. My kids loved the splash pool. super clean changing rooms added to the experience.

the bathrooms in the cottage are starting to appear a little worn.

mixed feelings about the stay

dog presence reserved loungers

the location offered great views and places to sit, whether it was day or night.

Dogs were present in all dining areas. It was unhygienic. i found dog hair everywhere, especially noticeable on the red carpets. the aqua club was not relaxing. Kids ran around and jumped in the pool. sun loungers were reserved with towels, but no one used them.

Really good coastal retreat

relaxing spa great service comfortable bed

this hotel provided an very nice stay. the spa facilities were a definite highlight, i found them very relaxing (the hot stone massage was superb!). the reception staff offered great service, they were always ready to help with any requests. the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

i noticed some areas, particularly the terrace, showed signs of needing some attention. the furniture looked a little worn and there was bird mess, it detracted slightly from the overall experience.
