mixed experience with some drawbacks

noisy room unavailable service

the room above the pool was quite noisy. doors slammed early in the morning. room service was unavailable upon return to the hotel at 8:45 pm, this resulted in cheese for dinner. it just felt disappointing.

the room was spacious and the breakfast was good

the fires were not lit and the place seemed stark i found it very unwelcoming the lack of a roaring fire on a cold day was disappointing two of our kids woke up with colds

Lovely Family Escape

outdoor pool perfect temperature wonderful massage amazing views

Our stay reminded me of a dream. The outdoor pool had just the right temperature. I was lucky to enjoy a wonderful massage from Antonia. The relaxation area provides wonderful serenity with amazing views. Eleanor, the new supervisor, ensured the meal was a five star experience.

During afternoon tea, the sandwiches had soggy bread, and the fillings were not to my taste.

Carson was so friendly and kindly let me park my car before check-in. Leah showed us around and took us to our amazing room. Katie and Johan gave me the perfect check out, so polite and warm.

Really good Stay

attentive staff thoughtful gesture excellent facilities

The staff were attentive. I was happy about the complimentary welcome pack for our dog, a thoughtful gesture. The hotel is fine, with excellent facilities. Nothing was too much for them.

The badminton racket broke during use. The head flew off. It almost hit me, causing disappointment. I reported this to reception but no replacement was available.

poor service forgotten orders

the location was acceptable.

I found the service during meals quite poor. Orders were often forgotten, and reminders were not addressed. the hotel was very loud due to many small children. i think reservations were also not consistently honored.

The hotel offers a great location with fantastic sea views. I liked the family stay and play hours in the den from 5-7pm. The staff was helpful and always ready to assist with requests. I appreciated the provision of crabbing equipment for children.

The indoor pool seemed to require a bit more frequent cleaning .

The hotel provided conveniences like handwritten name cards at dinner. My son enjoyed the free breakfasts and story time before bed. The hotel is great for families.

Housekeeping did not sweep our floor . Feathers and crumbs remained visible, suggesting a lack of cleaning.
