a stay with some hiccups
limited spaces patchy wifi
The parking situation was a nightmare. There was hardly any spaces available at the hotel. i had to park down the road, a proper trek with my luggage. the bar closed early too. i was hoping for a nightcap but was out of luck and ended up with an early night. the hotel says there is free wifi in the rooms, but it was patchy at best. i couldnt get any work done.

Fantastic Family Stay Near the Beach!!!

The hotel is fantastically located! The beach is just across the road. The view from my room was amazing. We slept with the windows open at night and could just listen to the sea. The staff were really cute and friendly. They even found a charger for us to use when we realised we had forgotten ours.
The elevator was out of order. It was easy to get lost because all signs in the corridors led you to the elevator.

Breakfast was plentiful and very nice for everyone. There is a soft play area open to the dining room. This meant the kids could be minded while adults relaxed with a drink or over coffee at breakfast.

The hotel is across from the beach. There are also multiple surf schools nearby. Rick Stein's restaurant is also nearby. It is a lovely walk to the headland on either side of the curved bay.

We had a family room with sea views. The bedroom was huge, with an L-shape. The bed was in the main section of the room, and the kids bunk beds were in the recess. There were beanbags for the kids to chill out on in front of the TV.

There is a cute indoor pool with a hot tub and sauna for relaxation. There is also a cinema that plays kids' favourites. An indoor soft play area is located just off the main restaurant. There is an outdoor adventure play area as well.

wonderful family stay
on-site amenities sea view soothing sound
i found everything i needed right in the hotel, so i didn't feel the need to leave unless i wanted a sea swim or a coastal walk (which, of course, i did!). the family in front of me got a welcome bag with coloring and a teddy bear. we had a sea view room, and the sound of the waves were soothing.
i booked half board and breakfast for my stay. the first night, it took 25 minutes for the water to arrive at the table after i asked three times. i was then charged the full amount for dinner, and it took over 15 minutes for it to be sorted when i questioned it.

staff were generally friendly and helpful, and i saw them go out of their way to make stays pleasant, always a good sign for a family-friendly place.

I enjoyed the sea view room with a beautiful view. The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-kept, which really added to the experience. it was a wonderful thing to wake up to each morning.

the sea view from my room was amazing. the family room was lovely. the hotel provided thoughtful additions, such as hot chocolate and marshmallows. the decor throughout the hotel suited families.
the shower did not function properly.

the staff were friendly and accommodating, and they were really nice too ensure a pleasant stay. the hotel offered a warm welcome upon arrival. staff addressed a noise issue from the beer cellar promptly.
