lukewarm food cold shower
I was really looking forward to my stay, but i left feeling let down. the breakfast was a letdown. The hot items were barely warm and not frequently restocked. then, to add to my discomfort, the shower turned ice cold during my morning routine. it seems the hotel struggles when several guests use the showers at the same time. it wasn't a great experience at all.

balcony surprise coffee choice breakfast selection uninterested staff creaking floorboards lockers issue
The room with a balcony was a lovely surprise. I enjoyed the tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. The bathroom was perfect. I could not fault it. Breakfast offered plenty of choice! Fried bread was even cooked for my partner. He was very happy.
The reception staff did not seem remotely interested. I found the rooms felt tired. The floorboards creaked! It was not pleasant. I also had issues accessing the pool facilities. It took nearly 15 minutes to get in. None of the lockers worked. That was annoying.

hard pillows cracked sealant
the golf course view from my room was acceptable.
the pillows were not comfortable, I found them too hard. the bathroom needed work because cracked sealant was visible. the tv was positioned poorly for viewing.

ample loungers shaded section
The Kernow course was quite enjoyable. The pool area included ample loungers and a dedicated section for shaded relaxation.
The gym equipment showed slight wear.
