i found the staff to be very nice and helpful. breakfast was also delicious and the quality was good. i was grateful for the ease of coming and going as needed without interrupting staff.
i noticed a dead fly on the windowsill. the window was also filthy. it needed attention. black bits were all over the floor. the light over the sink did not work either.

charming stay near the river
quiet roomsatisfying breakfastfriendly service
the room had a nice bath and was very quiet i found the breakfast satisfying too the staff was very accommodating i enjoyed the delicious fish pie during my lunch there the location near the river added to the overall charm of my visit. i greatly appreciated the friendly service i received and the home-cooked food was really good too the location was wonderful adding to my overall happiness.
i noticed that my room lacked suitable outside access which might pose problems with mobility issues

dead flyfilthy window
the room had problems. a dead fly was on the windowsill, the window was filthy. the bathroom needed work. black bits were all over the floor, the sink light did not work. i was told the heating would turn on later, it never did, i was cold. tiny bites bothered my ankles during the night.
