warmly memories in zennor
double room historic church farmhouse table
the large double room upstairs was a treat. it looked out on the historic church next door and a pleasant view. the white house was lovely and warm, it had a large cute hallway for muddy boots. a large farmhouse table sat in a communal kitchen with a guest fridge.
my room window opened on the outside seating area and it was a little noisy. i know it is a pub so this happens. i guess i was unlucky with the group who partied.

the staff were some of the friendliest. i got a great welcome from chris and great breakfasts from cheryl. every member of staff looked happy. it really did say a lot.

large room historic church tea tray natural toiletries
i stayed in the large double room. it faced the front with a view of the historic church nearby (very picturesque!). the room felt very cute and warm. i really appreciated the tea tray with a kettle, teapot, assorted hot drinks, and biscuits. natural toiletries were also provided.
the floor above the pub was a bit thin (i could hear some noise).

I enjoyed the residents dining room located at the back of the pub. breakfast included several choices. i particularly enjoyed the sunday roast dinner. The vegetarian version was excellent and the best.

noise issue poor soundproofing
the staff was generally helpful .
our room was right above the pub area. this meant it was very noisy late into the night (past midnight on both nights). the noise. i expected a bit more soundproofing, especially considering the price.

pub noise thin window
the room faced the outside seating. noise from the pub was very noticeable, especially late into the evening. the window did little to block out sounds. it disrupted my sleep despite earplugs.

The room was super nice and neat. I had dinner at the pub and it was perfect. Stuff were very friendly. Claire served us delicious breakfast and she was just lovely!
We had a room with a window opening on to the outside seating area, and there was a lot of noise! I appreciate it is a pub so this will happen. I think we were unlucky with the group who were partying..
