perfect location and great staff

friendly impressionlarge roomhelpful staffcorner table
after i got out of the taxi, i walked into the bar with my luggage. milly checked me in quickly and escorted me to my large room. from that first friendly impression, i was smitten. all of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially milly who stopped to chat every day.
i booked a table for two evenings running. when i arrived on the 27th, a couple had just sat down at the table i had reserved. the only table left was between two french door entrances. there was a constant flow of people, and no room for a dog to sit.

small family roombacon smell
The family room was really small, honestly. Pictures lied, made it look way bigger. I was also not happy that the kitchen was right below our window. Woke up to bacon smell every mornin. This place feels more like a restaurant that just has rooms, not a proper hotel. If you need somethin, gotta go to the bar, reception is always empty.

some issues

small roomfood smell
the family double room felt quite cramped, especially considering it was meant to accommodate a family. the description and photos online gave a different impression than the reality. additionally, the location above the kitchen meant there was a persistent food smell, particularly strong bacon in the mornings. it detracted from the experience. there was no reception desk manned, so you have to go to the bar to find someone.
