Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Rashleigh Arms offers a comfortable stay within a short distance of Charlestown's historic harbour. Guests often appreciate the spacious rooms, especially those in T'Gallants, some featuring mini-suite setups with two TVs and large bathrooms; room number 1 even has a nice view over the harbour. Breakfast receives positive feedback, and while some have found the cooked orders to take a little longer, the full English option is abundant. A few guests found some bathrooms a bit awkward due to their layout.

lovely harbour stay

warm welcome large bed fluffy towels
i stayed a couple of nights during easter. the welcome was warm. my room was adjacent to the car park. it featured a huge ensuite, a sofa with a tv, a large bed, fluffy towels and complimentary water.
the bar staff were rude to me. i was refused a drink. they told me i had enough. i had not even purchased a drink there prior to this. this was unacceptable behaviour.
Location
9/10
this place sits steps away from the harbour. there is a lovely friendly atmosphere. people are ready to help. that location makes it easy to visit local restaurants and bars.

small room persistent noise
The location was acceptable.
The room felt small. There was also a persistent noise from what sounded like the building's systems, and this disturbed my sleep. It was really frustrating, especially after a long day.

the breakfast was good with a nice selection of items.
The room was quite small and did not seem worth the price. the bathroom felt cramped. It was essentially a repurposed closet. the balance between price and comfort was off.
