Jago Cottage is appreciated for its comfortable and clean rooms, often described as having a lovely, cottagey feel, enhanced by thoughtful touches such as a piece of chocolate cake upon arrival. Many guests find the location convenient for exploring the South West Coast Path, also enjoying the breakfast served in a relaxed setting, and some guests have access to a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, which is ideal for preparing picnics. While most appreciate the variety, a few have noted that the coffee in the jars could be fresher.

okay locationold bath matstale coffee granules
the location was okay for what i needed.
The bath mat look aged and honestly, a little gross. the coffee granules in the jar were stuck to the side and stale. It was a bit nasty. i overheard the owner at breakfast say they 'had enough' of b&b.

Decent Stay Overall

chocolate cakerelaxed settingold matcoffee jar
The breakfast included many options in a relaxed setting. Upon arrival, I found a piece of chocolate cake beside the kettle. It was a lovely surprise after a day out.
The coffee provided in the small jar did not seem fresh. I noticed the granules stuck to the side. It looked untouched for a long time. The bath mat was old. I think the hotel could have replaced it.

The room had direct access to the driveway, convenient. Parking right outside the door was VERY helpful. The ensuite shower was also a plus.
The bath mat was old. It could have been replaced. The coffee granules in the jar looked like they had been there for a while, a bit stuck on the side of the jar, a shame.
