The location was magical. Comfort and style were superb. The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, locally sourced dinner options. The staff were really good. They couldn't do enough to help.
I found the cost of drinks to be somewhat expensive. I think including service charge in the price would be better.

The room had soft towels and The White Company products. Our Beautiful Double Room Balcony was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfy.

The hotel is in a great location. I encountered a few issues that detracted from my stay. There were no towels in the room upon my arrival. I found this surprising for the price. The shower also dripped constantly. I could not turn it off completely. These issues were disappointing.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area. The staff members were friendly and helpful. They were very attentive. My room had lovely little touches. I appreciated the location, the staff and the little extras.
The room did not feel superior to me. There was mould on the blind, and also on the lampshade. I noticed a dirty plug surround in the bathroom. The evening meal was expensive. The food was bland.

Alison, the head receptionist, offered a wonderfully attentive welcome. i received all necessary information upon being shown to my beautiful double room balcony. the whitewashed look enhanced the views. Swimming accessibility from the hotel proved a true luxury. i extend my sincere thanks to alison and the bar staff for.
The corridors in a separate wing of the hotel were a bit cluttered. It could be better.

the hotel featured a cosy lounge, a conservatory with fabulous views and a homely atmosphere. there was total freedom within the hotel . bathrobes and slippers were provided for extra comfort .

the dining experience included a varied menu with fresh, beautifully presented food. i received home made chocolates annotating 'happy anniversary' upon completing my meal. the included appetizer, fruit in the room, and good quality toiletries were good touches.
