solid stay near the harbor

the room had a comfortable bed and the included toiletries smelled great. i had a table booked for lunch and the staff handled our big group well. breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted great, it was the best on my uk trip. the location is fabulous and the atmosphere is cute.
carpets on the stairs seemed threadbare though, and the paint looked worn.

the location was fantastic, right by the harbour. i found the staff very helpful and pleasant. the breakfast was very good (especially the window seat with harbour views). the meal on my first night was a great start to the stay.

location was really great and it was near the harbourside. my room included harbor view. i liked i had tea and coffee making things. they gave a good breakfast, it had selection i expect.
the stair carpet needs work, it was a bit worn.

dated roomnoise disruption
the room felt quite dated and was smaller than i expected. the decor was tired, with cracked and damaged paint. i also found the noise from nearby pubs disruptive at night. it made it difficult to sleep well, especially with the windows open.

The room looked a bit tired. the shower room was cramped. There was no pressure in the shower. the hotel didn't ask how our stay was.
