unpleasant surprise smoke detector
the bed was acceptable.
the room had a very unpleasant surprise. it was infested with wasps i could not ignore. they seemed to come from the smoke detector.

friendly host organized food super clean area modern need
Nic was a friendly host. the kitchen had everything i needed, including labels to organize my own food. communal areas were cleaned daily. This kept the place super clean. it's a classic building adapted to modern needs.
i noticed a slight delay in response to one minor issue.

The accommodation provides good kitchen facilities. this makes cooking easy when needed. access to the shower and toilet was simple. Not having en suite facilities did not bother me. the kitchen had all amenities for self-catering.

fantastic stay!
large bedroom nice bedding
i found a lovely large bedroom with nice bedding. the dining room included a comfortable sofa. there was plenty of space and the free continental breakfast was great. i highly recommend a stay here (you will not regret it!).
my room was a bit too close to the street. it was not a huge deal, but i noticed some noise at night.

some issues
wasp infestation unavailable room
The room had wasps, seemingly from the smoke detector! the hosts only provided wasp killer. we requested a different room, but they said they were fully booked. we had to leave and find other accommodations. Unacceptable!

a decent place to stay
close location well kept accommodation wasp infestation limited response
the location was very close to my work. the accommodation was clean and well maintained.
our room was infested with wasps who seemed to be coming from the smoke detector. we informed the hosts and their only response was to leave a can of wasp killer in the room.

shared kitchen easy focus short walk
The shared kitchen was amazing with EVERYTHING needed to cook!!! I adored the calm surroundings because it made it easy to focus. The location was superb, and it was just a short walk to the train station!!!
