The two-bedroom Apt 18 offered ample space. Finishes and linens looked carefully chosen. The welcome items provided a good midnight snack. breakfast the next day. Access to a spa with an indoor pool was straightforward..

I found the staff very helpful when i requested an early check-in. They provided it with ease. free parking on site was a major plus, as was the convenient location. the hotel seemed new, maintained to a very high standard. i look forward to returning again. It really suits me.
some amenities listed on the website were not available, a little disappointing. room service, for instance, was listed but not offered . the suggestion of an onsite spa was also misleading! as the recommended facility is offsite.

The suite had a huge living room. Its bow window offered a beautiful sea view. decor displayed great taste. Everything was modern and clean, and the kitchen had more than i expected.

Breakfast was simple, yet thoughtful. Fresh bread, butter, yogurt, and granola were all provided. though there is no restaurant, the in-room breakfast setup was very convenient.

the location allowed a short walk to the town center via the south west coast path. it was a fifteen minute walk into town and five to porthminster beach. the beach is dog friendly before 10am and after 6pm.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. we had a beautiful view from our room. there is an access gate at the back of the hotel that takes you to a trail. a walk into the town took about 10 minutes.
i found the description of the hotel to be a bit misleading. the pools and spa are not on site. some amenities described as available were not actually accessible.

The grounds are beautiful for a little exploring. it was easy to get access to a spa. This was great for us. the kids used only the indoor pool.
