a tranquil escape
friendly staffinviting atmospherereally good foodtasteful decor
The staff was friendly. the pub's atmosphere felt very inviting. the food was really good. I especially enjoyed the venison (the chef deserves high praise!). the decor throughout the premises was tasteful.
Soundproofing could be improved. I could hear some noise from adjacent rooms.

the pub features a quiz night every monday. this provides a fun evening activity. there is free parking , a convenience i certainly valued.

the location proved central for my travel plans. it was relatively close to multiple charming villages. this enabled easy day trips for exploring the area.

the staff members were helpful. they readily assisted with any queries i had. paulo, in particular, was readily available. the breakfast service was excellent.

the staff was friendly. the village was lovely. the food and ale were great. i slept well that night.
the room was not worth the price. it was very small for what i got. i think they should not charge more than £50 for it. it was really noisy from the fan across the restaurant.

the staff were helpful they ensured i had everything i needed the breakfast included a good range of choices the location is near the coast i found it convenient the room decor was nice i appreciated the iron and coffee machine provided also there was complimentary water
i noticed the room was a bit small given the price point a travelodge might offer more space for the same cost

a lot of money has been spent to modernize a coach house into rooms, but i'm not sure it's worth it.
The room was not worth the price. It felt small for what i got. i think they charge too much. i also heard an entire conversation from neighbours. It was like they were in the room with me. noise was an issue.

The staff were friendly and helpful . The food was amazing, with compliments to the chef. The venison was the best I have ever tasted.
The noise level was a concern. I could hear conversations from other rooms, as if the neighbors were in my room.
