Decent Stay near the Quay
quay location pleasant staff easy parking small room blocked drain no room service
The location is right by the quay. I parked near the hotel without problems. The staff seemed pleasant during my meals.
The room was small and had no space for a chair. The sink drain was blocked when I arrived. I was not told about the policy of not servicing rooms .

comfortable bed coffee facilities friendly pub
the room was lovely and right above the pub. the bed was comfortable i slept very well. tea and coffee were available and the bathroom was clean. the pub below was friendly i wish i could have stayed longer.

the hotel is right on the quay. interesting walks are accessible in every direction and there is a foot passenger ferry to fowey every fifteen minutes. the position provides great access to local attractions.

the menu for breakfast had an excellent choice of items. the staff seemed young but were helpful. i found them accommodating to any requests and always available when needed

Harbour Views and Tasty Food!
harbour view live music tasty meal clean room
Our room was just above the slipway. I fell asleep listening to the waves. I woke up to the sound of seagulls, it was AMAZING!!! The pub downstairs had a great singer. I also had a delicious meal, I felt so content.
The bathroom skirtings needed better cleaning. Otherwise, the room was super clean.

small room shower cleanliness
I stayed in a supposed Beautiful King Room. The room felt smaller than expected. There was a definite lack of space. I also found the shower cleanliness lacking. The shower plug needed better attention.

The location was perfect. Accommodation was comfortable.
I wasn't told about the live music on my second night, and I couldn't even get a table for dinner that evening. It was just disappointing.
