lovely getaway

sea view friendly staff warm welcome delicious dishes

the room upgrade was a pleasant surprise and offered a sea view. the room was clean and tidy and the facilities worked fine. the staff was friendly, and the hosts welcomed me warmly. i enjoyed the chicken in the rough and the catch of the day.

i noticed the card machine wasn't working well, and i was charged twice.

the inn locates centrally. it is near many coves. a chocolate factory is at walking distance. a large public parking area is nearby and it is about 80m away.

my room was spacious and clean. the room included adequate space for a traveller. the bed was comfortable, and i rested well. facilities in the room worked fine.

the staff was friendly and cute. the breakfast had a good selection. i found the room clean. the location provided easy access to local attractions.

vegetable zest temperamental shower

I had a small issue with the shower. The temperature was a bit temperamental, shifting between hot and cold. It added some excitement to my morning routine. the Sunday lunch was not exactly a highlight. The vegetables seemed to have lost their zest a while ago. My dog enjoyed what I couldn't finish, so at least someone benefited from it.

Good Stay with Really good Hosts

room upgrade tidy room quiet room friendly staff

The owners upgraded us because they were actively improving our originally booked room (a nice surprise). The room was very tidy and all facilities worked well. The room was quiet and comfortable. Matt, Kelly, and the whole staff were cute and friendly.

The shower's temperature was hard to regulate, as it shifted from hot to cold.

The breakfast was fabulous, with a menu to choose from and fresh juices. We especially loved the Chicken in the Rough and the Catch of the Day. The pub atmosphere added to the whole dining experience.

The hotel provided convenient nearby parking for us. The hotel had major sports channels. It has a fine selection of Cornish drinks such as rattler and tribute. The darts facilities gave my son some joy on the evening.

friendly staff nearby parking small room restricted ceiling

the staff were friendly and helpful the location was great with nearby parking i found the roast dinner delicious it was a good hearty meal

the loft room was small the ceiling height was restricted in places i had to be careful not to bang my head the double bed was fixed with a very rough piece of wood that caught my legs every time i sat on the bed
