The parking was a real bonus! the staff were also amazing, and the breakfast was very good. we even got a complimentary cream tea on arrival. It was lovely
The heating near reception was too high. air fresheners near room 14 were far too strong, apply, twice. the hot tap in the bathroom took ages to work. This was annoying. a blanket was too hot at night

I received a wonderfully warm reception! The staff went out of their way to. The complimentary cream tea was a lovely surprise on arrival. Breakfast in the morning was great. I highly recommend staying here.
The walking directions to The Lost Gardens of Heligan involved difficult routes! Narrow lanes made it take longer than suitable routes nearby. A local landlord was shocked by the suggested route.

The hotel's situation is perfect, I think! The reception staff treated us very well. Breakfast and dinner were enchanting to us. The position is really convenient.

Food was lovely, breakfast too. Staff was attentive throughout, and we felt very well looked after. I enjoyed drinks in the lounge before dinner. The complimentary Cornish cream tea was delicious too.

the breakfast included a huge choice of freshly cooked items. the evening meal was of really high end quality, i thought. wes cooked it. what a treat.
the hallway air fresheners near my room seemed strong. they were almost too intense, i felt.

From arrival, tam ensured i felt at home. her team were attentive and friendly. wes created delicious breakfasts and evening meals. Each plate was a treat. the top-floor room offered ocean views. both the bedroom and bathroom had beautiful appointments, very clean. it was comfort and style both.
the heavy emphasis on boxing in the bar including many pictures felt a little off.

the room i had featured a spacious layout. the bathroom had a rainfall shower. toiletries were replenished daily, always a nice touch.

hosts greeted guests with tea and scones upon arrival. staff was always ready to assist with directions. the team were passionate about making everyones stay as special as possible.

Acceptable Stay with a Few Issues

The room was a good size and seemed well-appointed.
The directions provided to The Lost Gardens of Heligan were surprisingly bad (a local confirmed this). The route took us down narrow lanes. It added a lot of unnecessary time and stress to our trip. the display in the bar was off-putting. I did not care for the Muhammad Ali theme.
