a wonderful and quirky stay

unique suites glorious gardens friendly owners comfortable stay
Lower barns was like a great discovery for our trip. The gardens had unique suites, beautifully furnished, with superb beds. janie and mike, the friendly owners, ensured our stay was very comfortable. we enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast in the garden on a lovely sunny morning. It was everything you could wish for to start the day.
The location was slightly off the beaten track. Access to a car felt necessary. the need for a car was the only minor inconvenience i found .

the one-bedroom suite featured bright decor, a king-sized bed with premium linens, and an ensuite bathroom with both a rainfall shower and separate soaking tub. the suite had a small fridge and a bottle opener. complimentary beauty products were available in the bathroom.

Breakfast included fresh fruit, pastries, and a selection of cereals. the hotel served cooked breakfast options at the table. dietary requirements were accommodated with advance notice. The breakfast was served in the conservatory.

wonderful retreat!

fresh juice breakfast options helpful tips
i loved the fresh juice and fruit stocked in the fridge upon arrival. the variety of cooked breakfast options was a treat, sourced locally. mike and janie offered helpful tips on where to go, were cute.
driving on the very narrow roads with oncoming traffic was a little challenging.

weak wifi fluctuating water pressure
i found a few things that were not up to par. the wifi signal was quite weak in the "one-bedroom suite". it made streaming a movie impossible. also, the water pressure in the shower fluctuated a lot. i found that very annoying during my morning routine.
