convenient stay
spacious room friendly staff helpful staff local transport
the room was spacious, i had a twin room. housekeeping visited daily and kept it clean. i found the staff very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the hotel has good proximity to local transport links (i used them quite a lot!).
The lift was a bit small. I found it difficult to fit much inside at once.

the hotel is centrally located and about a ten-minute walk to the town center. a bus stop is also easily accessible from the hotel. this made exploring the area simple, even without a car.

The hotel features a nice bar area (i enjoyed spending time there in the evenings). the food choice was good (especially the roasts!), and the portions were plentiful. the hotel also has a pool. I.

The staff were wonderfully kind. They helped me with directions. my room had comfortable beds and bedside lights. i enjoyed the pool table in the games room.

constant dripping loud noise
The noise between rooms was lovely. it sounded like a herd of elephants tap dancing above. also, there was this dripping sound outside the window. Apparently, some gutter maintenance is beyond their capabilities. who knew a little clog could cause so much... ambiance.

mixed experience with some issues
broken lift poor food
the location was acceptable and provided easy access to nearby attractions.
The lift broke down, causing delays with mobility issues. the food quality was poor. The soup lacked flavor, and the vegetables were frozen. small portion sizes were served. I was even denied a second bread roll with my soup.
