this hotel features gorgeous gardens, carefully maintained. staff greeted me warmly and check-in was seamless. i received enthusiastic recommendations for local spots. the room was spacious with home-cooked cookies and refreshments. the bathroom included robes for pool use.

charming getaway with good touches

I received a very warm welcome. breakfast included halloumi, avocado, spinach, a poached egg, and mushrooms. the indoor pool was a lovely size. I had it all to myself for a pre-breakfast swim. fresh muffins was each morning, such a treat!

the breakfast was amazing!!! they took so much care.

the room was lovely, but storage was a little limited. i also had to ask for an iron and ironing board to be provided.

the breakfast was fabulous with various egg options (i especially loved the self-made granola!). many products seemed locally sourced. the staff was helpful and friendly. the bed was very comfortable, and the duvet was cozy. it was a plus that i could easily walk to the eden project.

the bar area was a bit small, it lacked space when other guests were there.

intimate hotel immaculate gardens excellent service homemade muffins

i appreciated the intimate nature of this privately owned hotel. the immaculate gardens were beautiful. i really liked the excellent service and attention to detail from the staff. fresh homemade muffins were delivered each morning (a good touch!).

storage was a little limited as there were only small drawers (but i managed).

the muffins outside the door were a nice touch i guess

the room was dark with very little storage i had to ask for an iron it wasn't provided automatically fresh milk came in a small jug not sealed bottles they really push sustainability and waste reduction
