COHORT HOSTEL, St Ives (Cornwall)

Cohort Hostel uses mattresses made from recycled ocean plastic in every room. The hostel operates a plastic bag swap box and participates in Toilet Twinning to support sanitation projects. Free tap water fountains are available throughout the property, reducing single-use plastic.

The hostel offers family rooms with parquet floors and hypoallergenic bedding. Private double or twin rooms and female-only dormitories are available. Each bunk bed includes privacy curtains, a personal light, a device shelf, and a large locker without a lock.

Porthminster Beach is a 5-minute walk from the hostel, and Tate St Ives is 700 metres away. Land's End Airport is 27 km from the property, and St Ives railway station is an 8-minute walk. A Co-op supermarket is located next to the hostel.

The shared kitchen has a large central island and is equipped for multiple guests to cook simultaneously. A TV room with Netflix and a small book exchange library offer quiet relaxation. The garden has outdoor seating, and a dedicated wetsuit shower and drying area is provided for beachgoers.

Free coffee and tea are offered daily between 8 am and 10 am in the lounge. The hostel has key card access, CCTV in common areas and outside, and smoke alarms throughout. Daily housekeeping and luggage storage are provided, and invoice is issued for bookings.
