Location
Location
Notter Bridge Holiday Park sits along the tidal River Lynher, with several lodges offering direct river access from their private decking. The Lynher Retreat and Riverside Retreat lodges have decks overlooking the river, where guests can feed swans, ducks, and geese. Fishing is available directly off the rear patios of these lodges, with game and sea fish in the river. Two small coarse fishing ponds in the woods along the eastern border offer additional angling opportunities, stocked with mirror carp, bream, tench, perch, and eel.
Amenities
The park offers a range of accommodations, including lodges like Anglers Roost, Magnolia, Willow, Hazel, and Cherry Tree Lodge, as well as glamping pods such as Heron and Kingfisher. Each unit includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stovetop, and toaster, plus a TV and kitchenware. Select lodges feature a hot tub, and the Cherry Tree Lodge has a fully enclosed decking area for pets. On-site facilities include a laundry room, a hot tub, free WiFi, and free parking, with an electric vehicle charging station available.
Points of Interest
The park is located just off the A38 in Landrake, Cornwall, providing easy access to both Cornwall and Devon. Port Eliot Gardens is 8 km away, Kartworld is 12 km, Cotehele House is 13 km, and Plymouth Hoe is 15 km from the park. Newquay Cornwall Airport is 57 km away. The Notter Bridge Inn, a family-run pub, is a 5-minute walk from the park and serves food and drinks. The park is within a 10-minute drive to Saltash and 20 minutes to Looe.
Amenities
The park has a mix of owned and holiday lodges, creating a quiet, small-site atmosphere. Several lodges and pods are dog-friendly, with welcome boxes and dog treat packs provided for pets. The Riverside Retreat and Cherry Tree Lodge have enclosed decking areas, making them safe for dogs. On-site walks include a woodland path and a pond, suitable for morning dog walks. The park has a fishing lake and landscaped gardens, but no on-site children's play area or clubhouse.
Services
The park's staff, including park manager Jonathan and Kay, send pre-arrival texts with tips and advice, and are available to answer queries. Laundry facilities are available for a small cost, and there is a book and games swap in the park. The grounds are maintained daily, with planter boxes of herbs for guests to use. The park has an electric vehicle charging station and offers free parking for all guests.
