rural glamping escape

comfortable duvetelectric blanketself serviceaccess road
the bell tent included two double beds with comfortable duvets. electric blankets! we also appreciated the available firepit. breakfast was self-service, and included boiled eggs plus freshly baked muffins, along with coffee. it was tremendous.
i found the single track access road almost inaccessible because of potholes! there was nowhere to pass other cars. the gravel path to the pods only had one light at night. i also saw some foliage that could be cut back.
Dining
9/10
the breakfast barn operated on a 24-hour basis, so that was really fantastic! the waffles, jams, butter, cereals, fresh eggs and other breakfast items were wonderful, with a range of choices. there was no cooker, but an egg boiler, a microwave, an airfryer and a toaster were present.

the location was very quiet. a lovely pub served great food in the village. it was a ten minute walk to the pheasant inn. i loved the electric mattress and fridge to keep the beers cool.
only one shower served possibly twenty plus people on site. this was not really sufficient. grounds around the tent were not kept well. grass needed desperately cutting.
