The breakfast was very nice. I liked the local products they used. karen and kevin were very good hosts. They left us to do our thing but were available when needed. the room included a great big bathroom. It was really nice to have that much space.
the bed felt a little soft to me. i like a firm mattress, so i found myself tossing and turning a bit.

the room was small. i had no place to sit other than the bed, and it was very low with a soft mattress. there was no bedside table on one side, so i put medication on the floor. the bathroom washbasin was too small, so water went all over the floor..

the room was spacious. it had tasteful furnishings. the bed was comfortable. the ensuite bathroom was pristine. breakfast was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and made with quality ingredients. the hosts were gracious and attentive. the hotel exudes charm, with vintage details and a warm atmosphere.
the smoke alarm went off in the hotel. it took a considerable time to sort it out. nothing could remedy our loss of sleep.

Charming Stay near the Cornish Coast

The ensuite bathroom included a good sized shower. Our room was very tidy. Karen and Derek gave useful recommendations for local places to visit. Breakfast offered many options and tasted freshly made.
The smoke alarm made loud noises in the night. It took time to solve the problem which ruined sleep.
