Adequate stay with minor issues

friendly staffhelpful staffgreat locationgood breakfastsmall roomtiny window
The staff were really friendly and helpful . The location is great (for accessing local amenities). I was able to lock bikes at the front of the next door cafe and the staff were ok with that. The cooked breakfast was good.
The room was very small. It had only one tiny window that barely opened. This was far from ideal in warm weather (especially with no air conditioning). The pillow had a horrible smell (like damp and mould) and this made sleeping uncomfortable.

The location is near both the town and the beach. Parking was available a short walk away (which is very helpful). The views were fine and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious with barista coffee.
The room felt stuffy and the window did not stay open. There was shared coffee and tea in the hallway, not in the room itself. The cost was high (even considering it was august).
