The bar opening hours started quite late. I would have preferred it opened a bit earlier.

the staff were really friendly and nice. the bed in my triple bedroom was comfortable with a firm mattress. the bathroom had both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. the wi-fi connection was also great!!!

The hotel had a swimming pool, this was an additional benefit. I enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant. They had vegan choices. I found the staff to be lovely and helpful. Especially the young man on reception and will who waited on us in the restaurant.
I couldn't get the main room light to work. This was frustrating. the room DESPERATELY needed blackout curtains.

The hotel and garden were larger than i expected. There was a touch of relaxed elegance with the pleasant patio and very spacious lounge's comfortable seating. The hotel has good facilities for people generally and meets individual requirements.
