Guests consistently praise the spacious and comfortable rooms at Torwood House, with some noting the convenience of having a fridge. The breakfast is frequently described as superb, featuring a comprehensive choice of cereals and cooked options like sausages, including the local Cornish pudding. The hotel's location is ideal, being in a quiet, leafy residential street only 5 minutes from the sea front and within a 15-minute walk of the centre of Penzance, which is very convenient for those travelling to Scilly; plus, bike hire is available on site. While the rooms are generally well-received, a few guests have mentioned that some aspects of the top-floor rooms, such as parts of the sofa and beds, could use an update.

breakfast choicehybrid bikeworn sofasqueaking noise
The breakfast had many choices. i particularly like the cool water in the fridge as it was a hot day. they even hire bikes, hybrid and electric bikes are also available. What a great way it is to see the sights.
i stayed in a room on the top floor and it was a bit worn. the sofa had crumbs on it and it looks as if it needs a makeover. the beds sinking in the middle and made annoying squeaking noises.
