friendly staff quiet room surly barmaid slow service
the staff was friendly. the room was clean. i also liked that it was lovely and quiet.
the pub service was slow. the barmaid was surly. i waited a long time for my food order to be taken, it took about 15-20 minutes. we do not recommend eating here.

I found the staff to be helpful and friendly . The room was clean. It included quality bathroom products. Breakfast offered a lovely selection of items, including a full Cornish option and fresh fruit juice. The location had nearby buses for exploring Bude, Wadebridge, and Tintagel.
The stairs were quite numerous. They made moving luggage a bit difficult.

charming escape!!!

country lodge tasty food great recommendation
I was charmed by the decor. It's newly refurbished with a good country lodge style. matt was fantastic, always available, and gave us great recommendations for drinks and local spots. jed in the kitchen prepared the freshest and tastiest food. We had all our dinners at the hotel.
The staircases were tricky. An elevator or alternative access would enhance accessibility for all guests.

I enjoyed a great breakfast with friendly staff present. the hotel is well placed for touring the area. Buses stop nearby. the hotel recently improved from top to bottom. i found the room spacious and super clean. The bed was very comfy.

the hotel offered a fantastic meal i really enjoyed. all staff members were lovely and friendly. check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. i felt welcome.
the walls in my room had grubby marks, and the carpets showed some wear. the television was also a bit small for the room's size. the duvet felt heavy and made the night quite warm, a little uncomfortable
